About the Program
The Skills and Employment Program (“SEP”) is a program of the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for Canada (AKEPB). The principal objective of SEP is to empower and support individuals to acquire the skills and knowledge required for gainful employment and long-term economic sustainability.
About the Role
Join a team of passionate and committed professionals to coach and guide individuals seeking assistance with job search support and job search strategies.
  • Review and critique resumes and cover letters
  • Share job interview etiquette tips for the Canadian market
  • Advise stakeholders on industry-specific job search strategies
  • Provide support during job search process

About You
  • Organized, strong time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to interact with and develop a rapport with clients
  • Passionate about coaching and guiding others
  • Be committed to the clients' success
  • Experienced with Canadian job market
  • Resume/CV (and LinkedIn URL) in the application is recommended
Time Commitment
  • 5 hours/week
  • 11 July 2020 to 11 July 2021
