About the Program
The Ismaili Centre, Toronto has launched a schedule of online programming that is broadcast across Canada and globally. This virtual platform includes "Sundays at the Ismaili Centre" featuring high-calibre content for both the Ismaili community and broader audiences. Online events help to further the vision and mandate of the Centre as a leader in civil society dialogue. Programming is live-streamed on The Ismaili YouTube channel and other channels may be added (e.g. GoToWebinar).
About the Role
We are looking for an Online Events Lead to plan, manage, and execute online events on a monthly basis. This individual will work with the Council for Ontario's Member for Ismaili Centre to strategically design online content that is high-calibre, innovative, and furthers the mandate of the Centre. We anticipate that online events will continue in the long-term and exist alongside in-person events at the Centre. 

The Online Events Lead will work closely with other members of the Ismaili Centre, Toronto team including the Marketing Director and Social Media Lead, as well event videographer, speakers and moderators.

The Online Events Lead will meet weekly deadlines leading up to the monthly event, including organizing marketing submissions and audio/video details. After each event, the Lead will collect and analyze feedback to ensure goals are being met.
About You
  • Collaborative mindset and a team player
  • Experience running projects/events with tight timelines
  • Comfortable with online/virtual platforms (YouTube, Zoom, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Superb written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience with online programming is an asset
  • Experience with Tableau, Google Analytics, or other analytics software is an asset
Time Commitment
  • 5 hours/week
  • Starting immediately to 31 December 2020
