About the Program
The Communications and Community Relations Portfolio of the Aga Khan Council for Canada is responsible for enhancing awareness and understanding amongst the broader community of the Imamat, AKDN and the values of the Shia Ismaili Muslim tradition; building the capacity of the Jamat to articulate an understanding of its faith; upholding the dignity and sanctity of the Imam, the Imamat institutions and the Ismaili Tariqah in all communications; and strengthening the relationships and collaboration of the Imamat institutions and Jamat with civil society, the Ummah, government and the media.
About the Role
• Set up webinars for Boards and Portfolios using the GoToWebinar platform
• Assist in formatting webinar presentation materials
• Act as webinar event producer and moderator as needed
• Liaise directly with board or portfolio contact person to provide information
•  Arrange for pre-webinar test (dry-run) with the contact person
• Work independently receiving a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance from the Webinars Manager
• Upon instructions from the Webinars Manager, the Webinar Technical Coordinator will ensure all work is completed and checked for accuracy
• Perform connectivity tests just prior to webinars to ensure good audio and video
• After the webinar, run analytical reports for the Board or Portfolio
• Check the video recording of the webinar
• Other duties as assigned 
About You
• Ability to multi-task in a highly engaging environment
• Knowledge of the production process for webinars and live streaming events
• Experience working with a webinar event system, preferably GoToWebinar
• Possess technical troubleshooting abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products (specifically SharePoint, MS Office and MS Teams)
• Experience in webinar coordination and/or related field is an asset
• Professional communication skills 
Time Commitment
  • 8 hours/week
  • 1 August 2020 to 11 July 2021
