About the Program
The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board (AKYSB) for Canada is improving how we run and measure programs for youth and active living. We create collaborative programs that enhance the quality of life of participants, support developing resilient youth, and that keep people active throughout their lives. We improve our programs to deliver more value to participants, and measure the outcomes we achieve.
About the Role
We're looking for someone to report on our progress and facilitate the process. You will:
  • support teams to analyze data to look for trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve
  • share results with the team and track action items
  • follow up with regional teams to collect missing data
  • look for ways to improve the process for data collection and analysis
  • support the team in reviewing the budget each month 
  • help map the budget to programs and outcomes
Generally, you will work remotely on your own time. You may be asked to turn around some analysis/reports based on Council for Canada reporting timelines (e.g. within a week). You will also be invited to join quarterly AKYSB national meetings. 
About You
You have:
  • strong analytical skills
  • a strong work ethic
  • a collaborative approach
  • good communication skills
  • literacy with Microsoft Excel (intermediate), SharePoint (basic), Google Docs (basic)
It helps if you also have:
  • a human-centered mindset
  • some critical thinking skills 
  • some familiarity with logic models and data-driven decision making
  • knowledge on how to analyze qualitative and quantitative data
