About the Program
Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to serve the youngest (and soon-to-be-brightest) of our Jamat?

The Aga Khan Education Board for the Prairies is looking for tutors of all backgrounds and subjects from K-12 to assist with our VIRTUAL Tutorial Program. Our mandate is to assist students who have fallen 1 to 4 grade levels behind and need that extra support to catch up! We are looking for individuals who can take on 1 or more students for 2 hours per student per week, with the addition of a 2-hour instructional component that will be added later on in the year. This instructional component will be taught by professional teachers for 1 hour, with tutors revisiting the material and checking for understanding in the second hour, and will be held on Sunday afternoons. Tutors and students will work together to create their own schedules, which allows for ample flexibility for those working, or those in Post-Secondary looking for volunteer hours.

Please contact the tutoring administration team at [email protected] to put forward your interest, or if you would like additional information
