About the Program
The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Ontario is pleased to launch the inaugural Boy’s Mentorship program. This program aims to support boys and youth within our Jamat between the ages of 13-18. Mentorship will be fully virtual for the inaugural year and will consist of positive relationship building, academic or professional guidance, and provision of additional support. Mentorship will be provided to mentees in the forms of e-mentoring, team mentoring, and one-on-one. Throughout the year various events and workshops will be organized to motivate, inspire, and encourage the young people within their interests and passions. 
About the Role
We are looking for a Program Administrator who has the experience and technical means to oversee program operations. AKYSBO will provide technical guidance on how to use digital platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and GoToWebinar. Preparing and reviewing teams for hiring, supervising, and coaching team members will be required.
About You
The Program Administrator should have some experience in program coordination or a similar role. The skill level and demographic should be identified if applicable. The applicant should be eager to lead meetings and carry leadership qualities. If you’re also dedicated, passionate about mentorship and youth, and a problem-solver, we’d like to meet you. Applicants who are bilingual in any language other than English are particularly encouraged to apply. 
Time Commitment
  • 5 hours/week
  • On-going position starting on 2 October 2020
