About the Program
The Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board for Ontario is pleased to launch the inaugural Boy’s Mentorship program. This program aims to support boys and youth within our Jamat between the ages of 13-18. Mentorship will be fully virtual for the inaugural year and will consist of positive relationship building, academic or professional guidance, and provision of additional support. Mentorship will be provided to mentees in the forms of e-mentoring, team mentoring, and one-on-one. Throughout the year various events and workshops will be organized to motivate, inspire, and encourage the young people within their interests and passions.
About the Role
The Event Lead will organize events to build long-term, value-based mentee, and mentor relationships that enable achievement of program goals and objectives. As this program will be virtual for the inaugural year, the Event Lead will organize events via Zoom and GoToWebinar for mentees and mentors. These programs will be focused on relationship building, on passions shared by mentors, and on areas to improve personal development.
