About the Program
 | Subject Matter Specialist/Modality Experts will be part of the core team of AED for Curriculum Development and delivery. They will write and review the core elements of the approved themes, as well as mentor and finish (complete – end to end) the module/theme development process. They will assess the thematic and pedagogic validity/appropriateness of the educational content vis-à-vis diversity, segmentation as well as digitality. 
About the Role
Your role will include but not be limited to:

1.       Intelligently curate the resource repository on RE to be digitalized. 
2.       Design appropriate educational interventions on available and newly created materials. 
3.       Corroborate timely productions of all the educational materials equipped with relevant sources.
 4.       Support and train the delivery personnel in AE roll out in various constituencies including support for mentoring and advising participants both in and out of class. 
5.       Establish a positive, supportive learning environment for the jamat and guide their learning through the provision of highly engaging, interactive and effective lessons delivered face-to-face and through a Learning Management System. 
6.       Consistently, competently and confidently use a wide range of educational technologies – including interactive white boards and participants’ own electronic devices – to make learner engagement with learning, motivating and ubiquitous. 
7.       Liaise with the implementation lead for delivering regularly scheduled and allocated interventions. 
8.       Ensure learner awareness of course learning outcomes and evaluation techniques. 
9.       Consult with program and curriculum experts in defining learning outcomes and evaluating, as well as validating these outcomes. 
10.    Explore and analyze new instructional designs and educational technologies, as well as help curriculum writers incorporate their use into lesson plans. 
11.    Regularly review and up-date the curricula per feedback received. 
12.    Facilitate and participate in professional development activities.
About You
 |The applicant must have:
 ·        Experience in developing, adapting and reviewing curricula and instructional designs, as well as techniques, particularly, in Islamic and Ismaili studies in the Ismaili Community setting. 
·        Sound academic knowledge of the subject matter. 
·        Knowledge of participating in ongoing professional development and performance management including peer evaluation and mentoring. 
·        Proficiency and demonstrated competence in diverse educational technologies. ·        Proven ability to establish and maintain high levels of innovativeness, flexibility, energy and enthusiasm, even during times of stress. 
·        Ability to collaborate and share expertise in a team environment. 
·        Efficiency in time management skills with the aptitude to effectively prioritize, multi-task, organize work, and meet deadlines
